Triumphant!

One of my girlfriends said to me last week, "you haven't updated your blog!" Being back to work full-time is a little tough! Jean is absolutely wonderful. Hayden loves her, and she says he has brought so much joy into her life (we made her a chocolate cake for mothers day). But as soon as I get home, its a race to the finish line. I live for the weekends more than ever, because I have more time in those two days. More time with Hayden and Loren, and more time to get stuff done!

This weekend was awesome! Two of my girlfriends came over Friday after work and hung out with me. It was so good to see them and get some time with them. Jenn took photos, I'll post them as soon as I have them. I don't need to go out, if I could just do that once a month or so, then I'd be alright. Then yesterday was my first mothers day. Loren and Hayden got up early, turned off the monitor and I slept until 8:30! Wow, buddy! That was nice, but of course, my back hurt from staying in bed too long. Then they made me breakfast, got me a card, and cleaned the house. Loren is trying real hard, because he knows Father's Day is around the corner, and he wants mowing the grass counted, but I said no way. He has to do that every weekend, mothers day or not!

The reason we are triumphant today is because for the third night in a row, Mr. Hayden slept through the night! From about 9:30 pm to 6 am! I feel like maybe I am doing something right! I usually wake up at some point and freak out because I haven't heard him, but he's always been okay.

He's still working on those teeth. You can see them under the gum, but nothing has popped out yet.

I have to run up to the Walmart on my lunch today and buy diapers. He's growing so fast, the size 2 aren't quite snug yet, but they may be before I go through another case of them. The diapers aren't too expensive, only $15 a case, but the formula, wow! Last week, I was bad, so busy, I kept buying it at Kroger. Sam's Club is the best deal, but who has time to run to St.C! So I went yesterday and got the big can so it will last longer.

Now, you are updated on everything going on. Not a whole lot, but everyday stuff.

Jenn-here is a great tooth chart! It's really cute, and let's you know what should come when, and a spot to record when he gets each tooth!
