Nice Day

We went on a walk today, it was so nice outside. Jake has been in the dumps, so all three of us went. We did really well, until we got about half way. Some of our neighbors leave their dogs to run and we ran into some of them and had to turn around. How irritating! I wish they would stay out there with them or put them on a leash. Or build a fence like I did! I was scared the dogs would chase Jake and he would pull us. Hayden stayed awake for the whole trip. He met a couple of the neighbors. Loren took a photo of us, but for some reason, it won't upload. I'll keep trying.

He's staying awake a lot more now. Still getting up a few times a night, but he goes right back to sleep usually. Jean's coming over every day this week. She seems to really like watching him. She says he's a very good baby. Well, of course! Her son, Christian, came over today with her and played with Jake in the yard. Jake loves Christian. Jake has had a good day today. He's smiling a little bit more.

This weekend is Loren's birthday. We are going out on Saturday and Mom and Dad are going to keep Hayden all night. His first all night trip to Grandma's. I hear it's important to establish that early. I really hope he doesn't keep them up all night, I'll feel terrible. We've not been away from him all night yet. I also hope I don't miss him too much. I probably will, but we have to do this eventually. I'll probably be over there at 5 am to pick him up. I'll try really hard not to.
