Guess Who's Here!

I haven't been writing because Hayden arrived! I went into labor Monday night around 10. I managed to stick it out until midnight and then made Loren take me in to the hospital. They confirmed this was the real thing, and by 6:55 am we had a baby! Loren called mom and dad and they came to the hospital with Jay and they all stayed there all night waiting to see what would happen. As scared as I was, by the next couple of days, I already couldn't explain the pain, because it was forgotten. Not that I am in a huge hurry to do this all over again, but it was all well worth it.

Hayden is doing very well and we are starting to get into a routine. He eats really well, and at the feedings during the night, he goes right back to sleep. I am hearing that is lucky. He is the most beautiful baby in the world if you ask me.

He weighed 7 lbs and 8 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. A lot bigger than I thought he would be. I don't know why, but I had figured he would be smaller.

We are instantly entertained around here. For months, life slowed down and now it has sped back up in such a good way.

Loren has been a great big help. He has been keeping up on the laundry, doing all the dishes, cooking, running the vaccuum, changing diapers, you name it. He talks to Hayden and sings to him. He gets up with me for every night time feeding. I have a feeling things will have to change eventually but they are sure are nice right now.

I am still recovering, I hear it will take 4 weeks or so. Its okay, living in my PJ's is actually kinda nice!

I can only sit in this chair for so long, so I am done for now. I'll leave you with some photos and now that I am home and back online, I'll keep you posted on how he's doing.
